VoxHaven Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use VoxHaven, create an account, or participate in the community.
• By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you are legally able to enter into a binding contract.
• The Service is primarily intended for LGBTQIA+ individuals, questioning folks, and supportive allies. We reserve the right to decline or revoke access to users whose behavior conflicts with the purpose and safety of the community.

2. Changes to the Service

VoxHaven is under active development. Features may change, break, or be temporarily unavailable without notice. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. You understand and agree that the Service is provided "as is" and may not always operate as expected.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current information and to update it as needed so that it remains correct.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Community Guidelines & Acceptable Use

When using VoxHaven, you must follow our Community Guidelines and all applicable laws. Without limiting the Guidelines, you agree that you will not:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users, or engage in hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory behavior.
• Post content that is illegal, sexually exploitative, pornographic, graphically violent, or otherwise inappropriate for the community.
• Share personal or identifying information about others without their consent, including "outing" someone's sexual orientation or gender identity.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Use the Service for spamming, scams, or unauthorized commercial purposes.
• Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service, including introducing malware or attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts.

5. Not a Crisis, Therapy, or Medical Service

VoxHaven provides a peer-support community and access to general resources. It does not provide professional medical, psychological, legal, or crisis services.

• Content on VoxHaven is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or advice.
• You should always seek the advice of a qualified professional with any questions about your physical or mental health.
• If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or a crisis hotline in your region. Do not rely on VoxHaven for emergency help.

6. Your Content and License to VoxHaven

You retain ownership of the content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant VoxHaven a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display Your Content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the Service.

This license includes the right for VoxHaven to:

• Display Your Content to other users in accordance with the Service features and settings you choose.
• Use, redact, or anonymize Your Content for safety, moderation, training, or research purposes (for example, to improve our support tools or understand how the community is using the platform).

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that Your Content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

7. Our Content and Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, images, logos, software, and other materials (excluding Your Content and content submitted by other users), is owned by VoxHaven or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service unless you have our written permission.

8. Moderation, Suspension & Termination

We may review content and user behavior to help keep VoxHaven safe and aligned with our mission. We reserve the right, at our discretion and without prior notice, to:

• Edit, limit, or remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
• Suspend or terminate your access to the Service, including deactivating your account, for violations of these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or for conduct that we believe harms the safety or integrity of the community.
• Report unlawful activity to appropriate authorities where required by law or necessary to protect users or the public.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or services. VoxHaven is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Use of any third-party resources is at your own risk and subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. VoxHaven does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors or harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoxHaven and its founders, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

In no event shall VoxHaven's total liability to you for all claims related to the Service exceed the amount you have paid to VoxHaven (if any) in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or a reasonable minimum amount where applicable law requires a higher limit.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VoxHaven and its founders, employees, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice (such as email or in-app notifications). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service will be governed by the laws of , without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, subject to any mandatory protections available to you under applicable law.
