VoxHaven was born out of survival: from homophobia, isolation, and the need for a space where queer and trans people don't have to translate their pain to be believed.
Why VoxHaven Exists
Because every LGBTQIA+ person deserves a space where they don't have to explain their pronouns, defend their existence, or shrink themselves to stay safe.
For the trans kids who are told they are too loud, too confusing, too much. You are not too much. You are exactly enough.
For the queer folks who have been kicked out, cut off, or told their love is wrong. Your love is sacred. Your joy is resistance.
For the Two-Spirit people carrying ancestral roles and teachings in a world that tries to erase you. Your presence is medicine.
For every queer, questioning, and closeted soul who feels like a burden for needing help. You are not a burden. You are worthy of care.
No "be nicer" to your abuser
We name harm clearly: homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism. And believe you the first time.
Queer joy is a priority
Not just trauma dumping. We make room for softness, humor, memes, and celebration.
Safety over engagement
No growth-at-all-costs, no virality traps. Just a safer space that doesn't sell you out.

My name is Yazan. I experienced homophobia both physically and mentally, and I had nowhere to go. I felt completely alone and isolated. I didn't trust anyone, not even my friends.
That darkness taught me something crucial: no one should ever have to go through this alone. I decided then that I would do everything in my power to make sure others would not experience the same vile isolation I endured.
I know that many people in the LGBTQ+ community experience homophobia at some point in their lives and feel completely abandoned. With rising hate in the West, especially through policies targeting our community, I knew I had to act.
VoxHaven is my promise to you: a space where you can feel safe, be heard, and remember that there is nothing broken about you. You are not alone anymore.
This space was built from lived experience, fueled by hope, and sustained by the belief that together, we are stronger. Welcome home. 🏳️🌈
